What Does it Take to Qualify?
- Ban Styrofoam
- Recycle
- Phase in compact florescent bulbs (CFLs), as replacement requires
- Set goals for improvement in key catagories
- Participate in educational workshops tailored specifically for restaurant stakeholders
- Score above 75 points on the GDA Certification Questionnaire
- Recycling & Waste Reduction

- Water Conservation

Upon completion of the GDA Questionnaire, an onsite audit is performed to verify the information. Personalized evaluations are prepared to highlight areas of opportunity. Finally, GDA staff work with restaurants to set goals and deadlines for future improvements.
