The Recycling Extravaganza’s 5th year continues to grow in popularity. Held in partnership with the St. Louis Community College – Forest Park Campus, our collection event for hard-to-recycle items continues its success. This year, about 400 vehicles unloaded materials to be collected by 16 organizations and businesses for reuse, recycling or appropriate disposal. Over 57,000 lbs or 28.7 tons of waste was saved from going in the landfill!

Waiting in line to unload at REX.
