Save the Date for the 22nd Annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival!

Although we consider every day Earth Day, St. Louis Earth Day invites you to mark your calendars for the 2011 St. Louis Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 17th from 11am to 6pm in Forest Park on the Muny Grounds. Join your neighbors in celebrating the 41st anniversary of Earth Day with three stages of live music, cultural performances, local food, 300 vendors and hands-on activities for the whole family!

Since Easter falls on the fourth Sunday of April in 2011, St. Louis Earth Day will be organizing what has become the oldest and largest Earth Day festival in the Midwest one week early next year. So, save the date and to learn more about the festival and how you can get involved, visit the Festival section of our website.

  • Song for the Ocean

Song for the Ocean is a musical project geared towards raising awareness for the Ocean and Earth through the power of singing.  There are many ways to get involved!
My goal for the “Song for the Ocean” project is to get a a minimum of 1 million people to join me in singing this song.  As we sing, we will hold the vision of a healthy planet, and make a commitment to the the Earth and all it’s creatures, to be a part of positive change in whatever ways we can.  You can sing this song on your own, in a group, a chorus, any way you can imagine.
Visit songfortheocean.com for all details and information!

Thinking about taking the train to the Earth Day Festival. How far is it to the Muny from the train?

Sounds like such a fun time with lots of yummy food and great music. Too bad I missed out but I definitely plan to attend the next St Louis Earth Day Festival.
